PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an efficiency of a connector installation work and a waterproof capability by absorbing a position displacement from a mating connector. SOLUTION: This connector is provided with a connector housing 2 having a terminal storage body 6 partitioning, storing, and arranging multiple terminals 8, an outer peripheral wall part 7 surrounding the terminal storage body 6, and a bottom part 8 connecting the outer peripheral wall part 7 and the terminal storage body 6, a waterproof position displacement absorbing member 4 provided in a gap part 12 between the terminal storage body 6 and the outer peripheral wall part 7, an insertion base part 14 inserted in the gap part 12 through the waterproof position displacement absorbing member 4, and a cover member 5 having a storage part 80 with a front opening storing the terminal storage body 6 inside. A displacement absorbing gap 19 is provided between the insertion base part 14 and the outer peripheral wall part 7 allowing the connector housing 2 and the cover member 5 to relatively move freely when the terminal storage body 6 is engaged with a mating connector 36.
