PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester designed to improve its control accuracy, prevent incomplete threshing, improve steerability and ensure its actuation. SOLUTION: This combine harvester is so designed as to set up a threshing depth regulator 14 midway of a channel through which grain culms reaped by a reaping pretreatment device are conveyed to the grain culm feed conveyor 15 of a threshing device so as to alter the positions of such grain culms, set up a sensor for detecting the longitudinal inclination of a machine body at a desired position on the machine body, and control the regulator 14 so as to be brought to deep threshing position mode when the sensor senses that the inclination of the machine body represent a forwardly downward state beyond a specified level.
