PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at making the culturing soil-supplying work and a fitting-work of an artificial compressed soil into pots as easy and sure. SOLUTION: This method for supplying a culturing soil is provided by loading a lining up plate 10 for positioning its fitting holes 12 in the upper direction of pots 2 of a seedling-growing container arranged in lengthwise and widthwise, then facing an up and down moving body 15 at the lower direction of the fitting hole by protruding it into the pot 2 from a penetrating hole 5 in the center of a bottom plate part 4 of the pot 2, then fitting an artificial compressed culturing soil which is formed as a cylindrical shape having top and bottom surface parts 7 and a circumferential surface part 8 and compressed so as to be restored by absorbing water, to each of the fitting holes 12 and then descending the up and down moving body 15 for loading the artificial culturing soil 6 on the bottom surface 4 of the pot 2.
