<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic key type steering lock device capable of releasing a steering lock by a mechanical key in emergency such as a flat battery. SOLUTION: Even in a situation unable to perform steering lock releasing operation by an electronic key 20 in emergency such as a flat battery, when inserting a mechanical key into a key cylinder 1, engagement of a tumbler 6 and a sleeve 4 is released, and the key cylinder 1 can freely rotate, so that steering operation can be performed by releasing a lock of a steering lock by rotating the key cylinder 1.</p> |
