PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a hydrophilicity inside an ink channel and prevent troubles by air bubbles by setting a resin to at least a surface of a part in contact with ink, and carrying out a hydrophilization process to the resin in the presence of an ink jet nozzle having the vicinity of an external or internal ink discharge opening subjected to an ink repellent process. SOLUTION: When a material itself of the head is a resin, the resin is coated on the other material. When the resin is used for part of composing parts, any parts if in contact with ink are included. For an ink repellent process, e.g. a layer of Teflon AF-1601 is applied and dried to a polyimide sheet, which is processed to a desired nozzle plate. A fluororesin of a perfluoro structure is preferably used. A highly cationic resin which is charged to plus when dissolved in water is reacted with a surface, on which a resin including anhydrides, a resin including a carboxyl group or the like is reacted and added, and a hydrophilic organic substance treatment is effected. The resin is cleaned and dried with a liquid including an alkali metal.
