PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material superior in surface smoothness and gloss and small in occurrence of fog, when pressure is applied, especially when it is scratched, therefore, superior in handling and to provide an image forming method by using it. SOLUTION: This silver halide photographic sensitive material is provided with at least 3 silver halide emulsion layers each different from each other in color sensitivity and at least one nonphotosensitive layer on a reflective support, and this support is coated with a water-resistant resin and at least one of the water-resistant resin layers between the support and the silver halide emulsion layer is a biaxially oriented polyolefin layer having micropores and the emulsion in this layer contains silver chloride in an amount of >=95 mol% of the total silver halides and at least one of the nonphotosensitive layers has a weight ratio of an oil-soluble fraction to a hydrophilic binder of 0.5-2.0.
