PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost and to make a camera compact by simplifying the spot of a camera where a film take-up chamber, a gear train for taking up film and a battery chamber are arranged in the up-and-down direction. SOLUTION: The gear train for taking up film 32 is disposed on the film take-up chamber 20 through a supporting plate 44, and a stroboscope 34 and the battery chamber 36 are disposed above the gear train 32. The battery chamber 36 is formed in a battery chamber case 50, and the case 50 is constituted of a base plate part 5002 extended from the front part to the rear part of the camera 10 so that the gear train 32 may be held between the chamber 20 and the part 5002, and a cylindrical wall 5004 projecting upward from the upper surface of the rear part of the base plate part 5002 and extended the lateral direction, and the inside of the wall 5004 is formed as the chamber 36. A supporting wall part 5005 supporting the supporting shaft 3202 of the gear train 32 is provided at a part facing to the upper part of the gear train 32 on the lower surface of the base plate part 5002.
