PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the housing volume of a housing chamber of a cabinet without reducing capacity of an electric water heater by arranging a lower part of the electric water heater in a space on the lower side than a bottom plate of the housing chamber in a device for arranging the electric water heater in the housing chamber of the cabinet. SOLUTION: In a face-washing cabinet 1, a sink 3 and a faucet 4 are arranged on a counter 2 of an upper surface, and a double-leafed hinged door 6 is arranged in front of a housing chamber 5. In this case, a part in a bottom plate 7 of the housing chamber 5 is cut out, a waterproof pan 8 is arranged so as to project downward from this cutout, and a lower part of an electric water heater 9 is housed in this waterproof pan 8. A cover 10 is installed on the waterproof pan 8 so as to cover a lower part of the electric water heater 9. Thus, since the lower part of the electric water heater 9 can be formed into a large shape by expanding the width in the longitudinal direction, even if the volume of an upper part is reduced, capacity equal to or large larger than a conventional electric water heater can be secured. Thus, the housing volume of the housing chamber 5 can be increased.
