PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a plurality of terminals apart from each other to remotely reply a phone call arrived in one terminal. SOLUTION: A call reception notice terminal (102) is connected to a public network and informs others call reception information of call reception information at the arrival of an incoming phone call. Reply terminals (103, 104) are connected to the public memory and receives a notice of the call reception information from the call reception notice terminal (102). Either of the reply terminals makes a call to the call reception notice terminal (102) to pickup the call. When the call reception notice terminal (102) receives a notice of call pickup from the reply terminal, the call reception notice terminal (102) connects a telephone set (101) and the reply terminal to set a speech state between them.
