PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat-panel display device having a frame thinned and narrowed without lowering luminescence. SOLUTION: This device includes a display panel 200 containing a display cell, a driving circuit connected to the display cell and a control circuit board connected to the driving circuit, and a surface light source 100 provided with a tubular light source disposed on one side of a light guiding plate. An acute angle of θ is made between the other side 137 adjacent to the one side of the light guiding plate 130 and the outgoing surface 133 of the light guiding plate 130, and the driving circuit or a part of the control circuit is correspondingly disposed in a space made by this acute angle. |
