摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a large-sized stiffener to resist oscillation, particularly to prevent rupture by resonance, which are the defect of suspension system bridges including a cable stayed bridge and also enable a reduction in weight which is conflict to resonance and, at the same time, reduce cost. SOLUTION: Support piers 6 are provided on the outside of bridge piers 5, load bridge girders 4 are installed on the support piers 6, and a plurality of copper cables are applied tensely across the inside upper surface pivots of both load bridge piers 4. A plurality of supporting beams 2 are installed between inside lower parts of both load bridge piers 4, and columns 3 are installed vertically from the column beams 2. The load bridge pier 4 is formed in such a structure that it can raise the support pier leg 6 side at the other end about the upper part of the bridge pier 5. Also, it is so structured that the copper cables are fixed to the load bridge piers 4 with equal tension and the column 6 side is lowered, a tension required by the copper cables is provided by its gravity and leverage, its tension and a support force by the column beams 2 are equalized roughly with each other, and a strength corresponding to a live load applied to the bridge beam is provided to each part by the columns 3 and a stiffening table 10 so that the bridge girder 1 installed on them can be maintained horizontally or in the plane state even by the live load applied to the bridge beams.
