PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently cool the anode end section and bearing portion of a rotating anode X-ray tube. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a rotor 18 rotated integrally with an anode target 16 emitting X-rays, a stator 23 formed with a bearing between it and the rotor 18 and holding the rotor 18 to rotate the rotor 18, a vacuum envelope 12 storing the rotor 18 and the stator 23, and a cooling section 33 connected to the stator 23 located in the vacuum envelope 12 electrically and mechanically, kept in contact with an anode end section A located on the outside of the vacuum envelope 12, and made of an insulating material for cooling the anode end section A.
