PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector, connecting structure and a connecting method for a sleeper made of steel and the supporting structure and supporting method for a floor joist for a floor by the sleeper made of steel, by which the sleepers made of steel are mutually connected surely while the floor joist for the floor can be supported stably in the connecting section. SOLUTION: The hollow sleepers 1, 1 made of steel supporting the floor joists (the frame bodies of floor panels) for the floor are connected mutually in the longitudinal direction of the sleepers in the connector and the structure. The connector has a connector body 72 and a pair of joining sections 73, 73 installed at both end sections of the connector body 72 and joined at the end sections to be connected of the adjacent sleepers respectively. The joining sections 73, 73 are projected and formed from the end sections of the connector body 72, and have inserting sections inserted into the sleepers 1 from the end-face openings of the sleepers so as to be abutted against the internal surfaces of the sleepers. The joining sections 73, 73 have pinching sections 73b being projected and formed from the end sections of the connector body 72 and being abutted against the top faces of the end sections of the sleepers 1 and pinching the end sections of the sleepers 1 in cooperation with the inserting sections.
