PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifouling paint that can give a paint film of high brightness according to the preference of the user. SOLUTION: This antifouling paint has a brightness >=4 and >=4 chroma according to the Munsell numbers and cuprous oxide is formulated to this antifouling paint in an amount of <=5 wt.% based on the whole antifouling paint. The production process for this paint comprises the step wherein the base of the antifouling paint and the coloring paint are produced, the step wherein the antifouling paint base and the coloring paint are mixed to tone the color of the paint wherein two steps more or less may be carried out at different places.
