PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an culturing apparatus and a culturing method for zooplankton capable of excellently carrying out the high-density culture or continuous culture of zooplankton such as rotifer. SOLUTION: This culturing apparatus 1 for zooplankton is provided with a suctioning head 4 placed with a specified space against an inner wall of the culturing tank 2 in which zooplankton is cultured and having plural openings facing the inner wall, and a pump 7 linked to the suctioning head 4, and suctioning flocks 8 generated with the culture of the zooplankton and accumulated on the inner wall of the culture tank 2 to remove them outside the culture tank 2 via the plural openings.
