PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect incorrect collating surely and efficiently at low cost. SOLUTION: The device for inspecting incorrect collating of calendar uses a calendar feed device 10, in which a set of printed calendar sheets 41 (41-1,...), the number thereof being specified, are gathered and stacked flat beforehand and supplied to a calendar binding machine 30 of a succeeding process. On the top side of a cover of the set of calendar 41 (41-1,...), there are provided an incorrect collating sensing sensor 21 such as pattern matching sensor for recognizing a separation zone printed in a stripe shape as a pattern, and an incorrect collating judging unit 22, which judges an incorrect collating when the sensor 21 has not sensed a separation zone. The unit 22 judges the sheets stacked flat and in stationary state before the set of sheets are sent to the machine 30, and if it is judged that there is incorrect collating, the device 10 or a top metal mounting machine are stopped.
