PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make performable action for opening/stopping down a diaphragm just by performing pushing-in action without rotating operation. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a diaphragm unit 16 or the like, varying the diaphragm aperture, diaphragm preset parts (13), 14 and 18 presetting the unit 16 to a set diaphragm value, and a diaphragm operation part operating the action for opening/stopping down the unit 16. Then, the diaphragm operation part is equipped with an operation shaft 30 having an operation part exposed to the outside, an energizing member 31 energizing the shaft 30 in a projecting direction, a lock mechanism (29 and 12c) getting in a lock state by the 1st pushing-in operation of the shaft 30 and getting in a lock releasing state by the 2nd pushing-in operation thereof, and a stopping-down interlocking mechanism (20, 19, 24, 22 and 25) making the unit 16 perform the stopping-down action when the lock mechanism gets in the lock state and making it perform diaphragm opening action when the lock mechanism is in a lock releasing state.
