PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens locking mechanism of spectacles which is capable of surely locking lenses with extremely simple constitution without using screws at all. SOLUTION: This lens locking mechanism locks the lens 1 and an endpiece 5 or bridge by forming a locking hole 10 near the peripheral edge of the lens 1, bringing fixing parts 3 consisting of an opposite receiving parts 31 having a first insertion hole 31a and an abutment part 32 having a second insertion hole 32 into abutment on the lens 1 and passing a first plug-in pin 21 of joint parts 2 mounted at the endpiece 5 or the bridge into the securing hole 10, then inserting the same in a tight state into the first insertion hole 31a and simultaneously inserting a second plug-in pin 22 of the joint parts 2 in a tight state into the second insertion hole 32a. As a result, the shaking of the lens by loosening of the screws, etc., is eliminated as the screws are not used.
