PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance productivity and to reduce labor for cabling, by covering the periphery of a plurality of insulated cores by an interposition so as to shape a cross-section normal to the axis substantially into a circle before the cores are coated with a sheath. SOLUTION: This low-voltage distribution cable 1 is formed by twisting two insulated cores 2 along the axial direction, covering the periphery of the insulated cores 2 by an interposition 6, and coating it with a sheath 8. The interposition 6 provides shape modification so that a cross-section normal to the axis is shaped substantially into a circle before the cores 2 are coated with the sheath 8. The interposition 6 is bisected into a pair of moldings by a longitudinal division plane. When the pair of moldings and the two insulated cores 2 are integrally twisted, the insulated cores 2 are housed in a gap part and their periphery is covered by the interposition 6. This keeps the insulated cores 2 in noncontact with the sheath 8 and prevents them from sticking to the sheath 8.
