PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the alteration of an operation specification by an electronic device for which special software is not required to be created for each event. SOLUTION: The electronic device is comprised of a key input part 1, a key analysis part 2, and an event processing part 3. The key input part 1 is a set of operation keys, and sends an input signal to the key analysis part 2. The key analysis part 2 is comprised of a key analysis means 2a and a key event translation table 2b. In the key event translation table 2b, each key and the event corresponding to each key operation are tabulated. The key analysis means 2a selects an event in the key event translation table 2b and sends it to the event processing part 3, which executes the event processing.
