PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an under carriage for vehicle including a novel integrated wheel end system including a clutch system for drive engaging, and disconnecting wheels. SOLUTION: An integrated wheel end system 14 for vehicle includes a clutch for drive engaging and disconnecting wheels to convert between driven mode and non-driven mode of wheel movement. A support body 22 is connected to a vehicle frame, and a slender spindle 50 is installed on a bearing in the support body. A wheel is installed on an external end of the spindle, and an internal end thereof has a flange 50d which has engaging elements arranged around it and extends outward in the radial direction. A driven axel has a plurality of engaging elements 50e arranged adjacent to the spindle flange around it. A slide clutch member can be shifted between a first position where it is engaged with engaging elements of both of the spindle and a drive element to bring about the drive and connection therebetween and the spindle 50 is driven by power rotation of the drive element and a second position where the drive connection does not occur and the drive element is freely rotated by the spindle. |
