PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an extremely excellent wet cloth capable of removing dust and dirt attached to the body of automobile and simultaneously forming a water-repellent lustrous coating film only by wiping the body of automobile with the cloth. SOLUTION: A silicone compound such as dimethylpolysiloxane, trimethylsiloxysilicic acid, etc., a fluorine compound such as a perfluoroalkyl polyether, etc., a waxy material such as carnauba wax candelilla wax, etc., and a surfactant are dispersed into water to give a wet cloth treating agent, which is impregnated into a fabric such as nonwoven fabric or woven fabric having the content ratio of lipophilic fiber to hydrophilic fiber of 80:20 to 50:50 by weight ratio to give the objective wet cloth for cleaning, water repellency and polishing of a coating film of automobile.
