PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for melt molding of a polyamide contg. a polycapramide as a main ingredient wherein a monomer and oligomer forming speed during melting is suppressed, contamination of a nozzle during melt molding is less and stable production is possible, and which is suitable for applications such as resin molded articles, fibers and films. SOLUTION: A method for melt molding of a polyamide obtd. by copolymerizing 100 mole caprolactam, a-mode dicarboxylic acid and b-mole polyamine with at least two amino groups being reactive with carboxyl groups of the polyamide is provided. When the melting time is t (min), a, b and t satisfy the equation t<=300.(a-b)-45.
