PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be adaptable even if the size of a lens body to be aligned and the curvature of radius of the lens surface are different and to easily execute aligning with high precision in spite of being simple and inexpensive constitution. SOLUTION: This aligning device is provided with rotating means 8, 9, 21 rotating a first lens body 1, position control means 10, 11 for the first lens body 1, a holding member 13 holding a second lens body 2 at the time of sliding the second lens body 2 placed on the first lens body 1, an elastic member 14 pressurizing the second lens body 2 against the first lens body 1, a sliding means 18 sliding the second lens body 2 via the elastic member 14 and the holding member 13, and a control means 17 which detects the deviation of an optical axis from the focal image of light transmitting the first and second lens bodies 1, 2 and which slides the second lens body 2 along the first lens body 1 until the optical axis of the first lens body 1 aligns with that of the second lens body 2 via the sliding means 18.
