PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block wall having excellent workability on the installation of a panel and the high reliability of installation. SOLUTION: The block wall is constructed by stacking blocks 1, 1' for vertical reinforcements and blocks 2 for horizontal reinforcements. Furring-strip metal fittings 4, 4' are held previously among the blocks in the case of the block stacking. Furring strips 5 are fixed onto the metal fittings 4 by screws, and the panels 6, 7 are fixed onto the furring strips 6, 7 by panel metal fittings 8. Grooves are formed to the furring strips 5 in the vertical direction, and the heads of the screws for fixing the furring strips are not projected from the grooves.
