PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To tightly connect corrugated plates by inserting tapping screws into insertion holes formed by heating and fusing the overlaps of the ends of adjacent synthetic resin corrugated plates. SOLUTION: Synthetic resin corrugated plates 2 are mounted on purlins arranged at a necessary interval with the ends 2a and 2b overlapping approximately by one or one and half ridges and fixed to the purlins by hook bolts or the like. Subsequently, by heating and fusing the necessary positions of the overlaps with a soldering iron or the like, an insertion hole 4 is formed and a tapping screw 5 is inserted into the hole 4 and the ends 2a and 2b are connected. At this time, positions to be fastened by the screws 5 and the number of the fastening positions by the screws 5 may be one in the center between purlins if the purlins are arranged, spacing them relatively closely and two or more are formed between the purlins if the purlins are arranged, spacing them relatively widely. Subsequently, when necessary, caps are fitted to the tips of the screws 5, whereby corrugated plates can be fastened reliably without a special member, dust or rain can be prevented from entering, and storage and transport can be eased.
