A filter bag retainer on which a filter bag is supported facing an opening through a cell plate in a baghouse. The retainer includes a tubular support frame (20), affixed to the cell plate for suporting the filter bag. The frame includes a matrix of (i) a plurality of peripheral rings (24) and (ii) a plurality of substantially longitudinal beams (22) affixed to the rings. Each of the rings has a disjunction (24a), and the disjunctions of the rings are oriented peripherally between an adjacent pair of the beams. An adjustment mechanism (40) is provided for selectively spreading the disjunctions of the rings so as to expand the frame transversely. |
