PURPOSE:To transfer a picture data at a high speed between memories by providing a management means managing a picture data and a high speed data transfer means transferring the picture data managed by the management means at a high speed to the processing unit and transferring the picture data according to a management table. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 11 reads a moving picture data desired to be displayed from a picture data storage section 15 or the like and loads the read data to a picture memory 3 in the order of frames 0, 1, 2.... Moreover, the CPU 11 generates a moving picture management table in parallel with the operation. After the initial setting processing is finished, when the CPU 11 makes starting, the picture data in the picture memory 3 is transferred to a rectangular area 53 at a high speed. The operation is implemented for each of 1/30sec according to stored location information in a moving picture management table sequentially in the order of frames 1, 2,.... Thus, the moving picture stored in the picture memory 3 is displayed on the rectangular area 53 designated on a display device 10. |
