<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a treated water low in SS concn. SOLUTION: A liq. 2 for the reaction vessel and a carrier 3 capable of being fluidly agitated in the liq. 2 and being settled in the liq. 2 are charged in the reaction vessel 1, and the carrier 3 is agitated and fluidized by aeration while preventing the carrier 3 from flowing out from the reaction vessel 1, and the carrier 3 is settled after stopping of the aeration, and a part of a sludge settled at the vicinity of a discharge port of the reaction vessel 1 is transferred and circulated to the liq. surface of the liq. 2, and simultaneously, the liq. to be treated is passed through a settled carrier layer 3 in a downward stream, and the treated water is discharged.</p> |
