PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely prevent environmental pollution, without producing bad smell, in a device for automatically erasing images of a recording medium, which images can be erased by means of cleaner liquid such as water, to conserve resources by reutilizing the recording medium. SOLUTION: The device includes a cleaner B which erases copy prints by washing and squeezing using A cleaner liquid 51 such as water, an endless belt 16 which are between a drive roller 14 and a driven roller 15 and moves with its surface being pressed against the periphery of an opening 32 of the cleaner B, a storage vessel 52 for storage of the liquid 51, a circulation pump 53 for circulating the liquid 51 between the Vessel 52 and the cleaner B, and a main body drive motor 60. Thus, copy prints of copy paper can be automatically erased.
