The reflector has a top (7) having at least approximately rectangular, pref. quadratic shape with sides (13,-16) and a laterally located reflector opening (6) connecting to the top (7) for insertion of a light source, pref. one or more compact light tubes. The top corners are cut away forming base lines (9-11) from which evolve specially profiled sections forwards to an otherwise profiled, e.g. smooth reflector part (19), formed as a dazzle protection part and which connects outwards to the specially formed inner part. The length of the base lines amounts to approximately half the length of the remaining rectangle sides. The light source inserted from the outside through the opening is diagonally orientated relatively to the rectangle and extends between two base lines. The reflector (1) is round in order to receive an all-round even light distribution. A sector-shaped reflector section extends from each base line and rectangle side. |
