A swivel connector for connecting, in particular, a pool hose to an automatic pool cleaner in such a manner that the pool cleaner and hose are able to swivel freely relative to one another and, thereby, allow the inherent steering operations of the pool cleaner to operate efficiently, is provided. The swivel connector consists of a pair of swivel members (52 and 54) having respective nipples or connector ends (56 and 58) for connecting the pool hose and APC in flow communication. A bearing, defined by a race and a number of ball bearings (40) located therein, is provided for smooth and controlled rotation of the swivel members (56 and 58) relative to one another. |
