PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance installation performance of rigid and inexpensive connection/insulation by fitting a jaw to an electrode band placed at a specified position from the opposite sides of a planar heater and soldering a lead wire to the upper surface of the jaw thereby enhancing heat resistance. SOLUTION: A laminated planar heater 1 is provided, at the opposite ends in the longitudinal direction thereof, with electrode bands 2. A jaw 3 is fitted to a part of the electrode band 2 and a lead wire 4 is soldered 5 to the upper surface of the jaw 3. The jaw 3 bites into the electrode band 2 surely to establish rigid electrical connection. Since the jaw 3 is fitted directly from above the laminate film, the labor for stripping the laminate at a joint can be eliminated. Furthermore, the lead wire 4 can be soldered 5 easily to the surface of the jaw 3 because it is made of a metal. According to the structure, a lead wire can be connected easily and inexpensively and can be bonded rigidly while reducing the thickness of a product.
