PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make reducible the production cost and make restrainable the generation of difference among individuals by forming a surface plasmon resonance(SPR) part in a specied region, and covering a plate-like core passing light from a light source from one surface and covering a region except a sensor part form the other surface, respectively, with clads. SOLUTION: A core 7 is composed of glass or plastic to transmit light for immunity reaction measurement and in a plate-like shape similar to a first clad 5, whose width and length are almost the same as those of the clad 5. A second clad 9 is similarly composed of glass or the like and has almost the same length and the width as those of the core 7. For forming a through hole 13 in a clad 9, the through hole 13 is formed at a position corresponding to that of the core 7 by using a specified boring machine. In performing the construction with one sheet of core 7, when the surface of the core 7 is polished smoothly, a wide area of surface can be polished with one polishing process so that the work efficiency is high. In comparison with the case where a plurality of members are combined, a connection process is reduced and it is possible to restrain generation of inter-individual difference in characteristic for every SPR sensor cell.
