PURPOSE: A rear wheel suspension system of a vehicle is provided to improve the stability of the straight traveling and the ride comfort of the vehicle by maintaining displacement to horizontal direction when the wheel moves up and down at minimum. CONSTITUTION: A rear wheel suspension system of a vehicle includes an axle beam(1) movably supporting wheel at both sides, shock absorbing elements arranged at both sides of the axle beam, and a lateral rod having one side connecting part connected with one side of the axle beam and the other side connecting part connected with the opposite car body for being installed in axial direction, wherein the lateral rod is formed with two major axis rods(30,31) and one minor axis rod(32). Car body connecting part(33,34) of the major axis rods are connected on an equal axis in length direction of the car body and wheel connecting parts(35,36) of the major axis rods are formed to perform relative flexible operation in up and down, and right and left directions for being connected with upper and lower connecting parts of a connecting member hingedly fixed in the axle beam. A car body connecting part(37) of the minor axis rod is connected with a medium part of the car body and a wheel connecting part(38) of the minor axis rod is connected with a car body connecting part of the connecting member.
