PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compact the constitution of an air conditioner which improves comfortableness by processing the air-conditioning load of a perimeter zone and, at the same time, to make the air conditioner to be installed easily to an already existing building. SOLUTION: The indoor unit 1 of an air conditioner provided with an air inlet on the front side and air outlets 12, 13, and 14 on the top, left, and right sides is set up on the floor of a room at a window. In the rear of the heat exchanger of the unit 1, turboblowers 5 and 6 are vertically set up. In the periphery of the turboblowers 5 and 6, wind direction guides 7 and 8 are concentrically provided. The guide vanes 31 and 32 of the guides 7 and 8 are curved in the directions opposite to the curved directions of fan blades 23 and 26 so as to change the flowing directions of air flows from impellers 21 and 24 to radial directions. |
