PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the selecting operation of a slave machine at a master machine side and the enhance workability at the time of a connection mode by displaying information related to the printing actions of each connected device. SOLUTION: This connected image-forming system is constituted so that the plural image forming devices are connected in a pier-to-pier state so that communication can be executed and provided with at least an operation part 201 setting and releasing the connection mode and displaying the state of the device. Then, the desired printing action is executed by deciding the master machine and the slave machine by the connection operation of the operation parts 201 arranged at each of the devices and supplying image information to the slave machine by the master machine. Besides, the system is provided with a main controller 40 displaying the printing feasible and infeasible states of the slave machine at the operation part 201 based on status information transmitted from the slave machine.
