PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a simple type paper money receiving and paying machine and a paper money processing machine which make a tape winding/rewinding system a multifunction, small-sized, inexpensive and high performance with few sensor faults. SOLUTION: In a temporary storage safe 4, either a wheel 41 or a reel 42 is formed while a storing/ejecting operation that winds/rewinds a paper money together with a tape 43 is possible. In the wheel 41, a multifunction is realized in comparison with the conventional system in which the wheel 41 alone performs a storing and ejecting operation. Temporary storage is performed by storing received paper moneys in the wheel 41 by switching a gate 45b, and a paper money left behind is stored and preserved in the reel 42 by switching a gate 45d. Thus, a dedicated storage safe for paper moneys left behind does not have to be newly mounted, a paper money receiving and paying machine which is small-sized, expensive and highly reliable can be provided and also be made a simple type, and further, a multifunction type paper money processing machine can be provided. |
