PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer feeding member used in a developing unit in an image forming device adopting an electrophotographic system, having good developer conveying performance and giving a high quality image. SOLUTION: The developer feeding member is used in a developing unit in an image forming device adopting an electrophotographic system and has an elastic layer for feeding a developer to the surface of a developer support. The elastic layer comprises polyurethane foam obtained by foaming and curing a polyurethane forming material by both the introduction of an inert gas and mechanical stirring.
