PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily produce a rectilinear optical transmission path at the front end of an optical fiber. SOLUTION: This optical molding method uses the optical fiber and photosetting resin solutions. A solution mixture 100 is filled in a transparent vessel 110. The solution mixture 100 consists of a mixture composed of two kinds of the photosetting resin solutions varying in curing start points and refractive indices. Also, the refractive indices are subjected to component ratio regulation according to the exit angle from the fiber. The one end of the optical fiber 200 is put into this solution mixture 100 in a first stage. Short wavelength light ofλ1 is emitted from the fiber end face and the one photosetting resin solution in the solution mixture 100 is cured in a second stage. As a result, a core part 105 is formed. The solution mixture 100 is irradiated with light ofλ2 from outside surface circumference with a UV lamp in a final stage. As a result, a clad part 106 cured over the entire part of the solution mixture 100 is formed. The rectilinear core part 105 is formed with good rectilinearity at the front end of the optical fiber by the solution mixture 100 and these stages.
