PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a distance measuring device for accurately measuring distance regardless of the changes in reflection signal strength, in temperature, and the incidence of sunlight. SOLUTION: The distance-measuring device is provided with a logarithmic amplification part 6a with gain characteristic capable of securing a signal level that is saturated when a peak is detected and a linear amplification part 6b with gain characteristics for securing an S/N ratio when detecting a threshold, thus accurately detecting the peak value of a signal when the reflection signal with large strength is received from an object at a close distance or that with a high reflection factor is received, accurately detecting the threshold, and accurately detecting distance to a reflector 4 by correcting delay time according to the detected peak value.
