PURPOSE: An advertisement service apparatus and method using a call channel in a mobile communication system of a CDMA are provided for designating a reserved burst type field value of a data burst message for an advertisement service, receiving an advertisement data and information from an advertisement information database by an advertisement message generator, generating an advertisement message of a data burst message type and transmitting to mobile stations using a call channel. CONSTITUTION: An advertisement message generator(110) is installed in a base station and reads all advertisement information such as an advertisement data and time for transmitting the advertisement from an advertisement information database. At this time, the operation of the advertisement message generator(110) may be periodically operated. When the current time is matched with the advertisement transmission time, the advertisement message generator(110) generates an advertisement message.
