摘要 PURPOSE: A transceiving method and device for controlling continuous external circulation power in a discontinuous transmission mode of a code division multiple access(CDMA) mobile communication system, is provided to table frame error rates for a signal-to-noise ratio, and to decide whether the frame has an error by referring to the table while data are not transmitted, so as to control external circulation power regardless of data existence. CONSTITUTION: A signal-to-noise ratio is calculated. An error of a received frame is detected. An energy of the frame is detected. External circulation power is controlled, by the frame error and the frame energy. And external circulation power is controlled by the signal-to-noise ratio. According to existence of the frame, the two steps controlling external circulation power are switched, to continuously control the external circulation power.
