A device for mixing grapes and juice, comprising vanes (48a and b) attached to a mounting (45) which can be moved up and down a central shaft, is new. As the vanes are raised, by rotation of the shaft, fingers (60a and b) encounter radial plates (59a-c) on the sides of the casing, which guide them to the inclined ramps (61a and b) and rods (62a-c) which position them for the next lowering cycle.
