PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a street light, having good waterproof and insectproof functions and assuring stable quality without using separate components such as a packing. SOLUTION: A street light is configured, and a downward protruding protruding wall 4a with the bottom positioned close to the oversurface of a lower globe 2 is provided on the undersurface of an upper globe 1, an upward protruding wall 6a with the top positioned close to the undersurface of the upper globe 1 is provided inside the downward protruding wall 4a in such a way as protruding up at the oversurface of the lower globe 2, and that a space 10 of such a size as not generating capillary phenomenon is formed between the downward protruding wall 4a and upward protruding wall 6a. Even if water intrudes from the gap between the downward protruding wall 4a and the oversurface of lower globe 2, the space 10 can higher occurrence of the capillary phenomenon, and the water will not intrude farther inside. Because to packing is used, there is no possibility of the waterproof and insectproof functions being degraded otherwise likely resulting from deterioration or exfoliation of packing, and it is practicable to keep stable quality. |
