HIGH VISION STILL PICTURE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize data of a High Vision still picture program by connecting s still picture processor that ca process High Vision picture data to a client personal computer via a general purpose interface so as to configure a system where image data are sent/received between the client personal computer and the still picture processor. SOLUTION: In a High Vision still picture system, a still picture processor 1 is connected to a client personal computer 6 on a LAN 7 via a PCI bus 60. An HD monitor 3 is connected to a still picture display control section 15 of the still picture processor 1 and a picture MO drive 4 and an audio CD drive 5 are connected to an I/F section 13. The still picture display control section 15 displays picture data in the High Vision format supplied from a signal conversion section 14 onto an HD monitor 3.
