PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record much more image information by detecting an item that can be updated or newly recorded among information items configuring image information from the read image information and a detected recording form and recording again prescribed data to a recording medium. SOLUTION: An image information and format storage section 103 stores data with respect to image information and the format of the image information that can be added/deleted. An image information retrieval section 104 identifies the format of the image information read by an image information read write section 101 to retrieve the image information from the result. An image information reconfiguring section 105 reconfigures the image information from the image information obtained from the image information retrieval section 104 and an image edit section 107 and the image information stored in the image information.format storage section 103. A user setting registration section 106 select and registers the data in the image information retrieval section 104 that are to be added/deleted or the information in the image information reconfiguring section 105 that is to be reconfigured by the user.
