ANODE BODY FOR SOLID ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR, FIXED ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR USING THE ANODE BODY AND MANUFACTURE OF THE CAPACITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor in which silver paste does not stick out from a capacitor body. SOLUTION: A sintered body of a valve meal, which has flat surface and in which inclination faces 12 inclined inward to a flat face 13 are formed at the peripheral edge parts of the flat face 13, is used for an anode body 10 of a solid electrolytic capacitor. A capacitor element 22 is manufactured by forming a dielectric oxide coating 20 and a cathode layer 21 in the anode body 10. A carbon layer 23 is formed on the cathode layer 21 of the capacitor element 22 and is coated with silver paste. A capacitor body 25 is manufactured by installing the capacitor element 22 on a wiper 31 and drying it with the flat face 13 of the anode body 10 as a base. Most part of the excess silver paste is removed by a wiper 31, and since the rest is left to accumulate on the inclination face 12 of the anode body 10, the silver paste is prevented from sticking out from the capacitor body 25.
