摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly coat inner surface of a glass tube with fluorescent coat by immersing the lower end of the glass tube in a container filled with fluorescent liquid, raising the fluorescent liquid to a predetermined level in the glass tube, lowering the fluorescent liquid in the glass tube, removing the glass tube from the container, and dripping the remaining fluorescent liquid. SOLUTION: When the lower end of a glass tube 8 is dipped in fluorescent liquid 6 while the glass tube 8 is held with a jig 7, and a cock 10 is opened to make air flow in the A arrow direction into a small chamber 14 in a container 5, the fluorescent liquid 6 rises in the glass tube 8. When the cock 10 is closed and then a cock 11 is opened when the fluorescent liquid 6 rises to a coating level of fluorescent coating in the glass tube 8, the air in the small chamber 14 in the container 5 flows out in the B arrow direction, and the fluorescent liquid 6 in the glass tube 8 drops to the liquid level in the container 5. When the jig 7 is lifted up to remove the glass tube 8 from the container 5, the fluorescent liquid 6 slightly remaining in the bottom of the glass tube 8 rapidly drops. When the drop of the fluorescent liquid 6 becomes nil, application of the fluorescent coat is finished.
