PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard adaptable to USB capable of preventing a deficiency such as a malfunction and defective performance due to electrostatic noise with a simple method. SOLUTION: This keyboard device has a keyboard main body 6 where many key tops 8 are arranged on the surface, upper and lower cases 7 and 2 housing the body 6, a control circuit substrate 4 on which a control circuit controlling the body 6 is mounted and a USB connector 5 connected to the substrate 4. Then, a shield plate 3 covering the substrate 4 from the bottom is provided, and the plate 3 is electrically connected to the shielded wire of a cable connecting the frame ground part of the connector 5 and a personal computer main body.
